The ioWALL application does not work like firewalls with simple port blocking or DoS/DDoS solutions using static white/black lists. We designed the ioWALL module in a revolutionary way to be dynamic, lightweight, and less CPU intensive while delivering the effectiveness of a costly session border controller (SBC). The standard version provides Integrated Self Learning Multi-Protocol Threat Management Protection providing an advanced media firewall and active host-level intrusion detection/mitigation with advanced geographically coded reporting. The standard version also provides advanced traffic monitoring with self-learning and categorization with dynamic allow/deny decision-making. The Pro version provides active DoS/DDOS protection.
