The ioCORE of ioTRAN's flagship product is the ioPLATFORM. An on-premise or SaaS Cloud Communication Platform with Class 5 Softswitch capabilities and Unified Communications designed for next-generation networks and CSPs. The platform is built on a hyper-converged system that can run on all major hypervisors or bare metal servers, and its functionality and features are determined by individual application modules called ioMODULES. The ioCORE primary module automates installation processes, provides a professionally tuned CENTOS Linux operating system, and uses a high-performance SQL database. The ioBASE foundation offers advanced system information monitoring, simplified software update/patch delivery, and ioMODULE instant trial evaluations.

The ioPLATFORM was originally developed over 20 years ago by ioTRAN's engineering team for the emerging white-label hosted VoIP market.  The original product is in service today and is an extremely stable class 5 Softswitch application. ioTRAN is retrofitting the stability and knowledge of the original product and porting it to a state-of-the-art foundation for new capabilities, unlimited scalability, and advanced carrier-grade high availability.

The ioPLATFORM supports class 5 Softswitch capabilites for retail, UCaaS, Fax, wholesale SIP trunking, and private label markets through an advanced multi-level and multi-tenant partitioned structure.  This structure provides control and access for the operator, customer administrators, and users. Additionally, billing, accounting, and taxation are tightly integrated and pass through each retail or wholesale billing application level, including private label-hosted VoIP services. This advanced integration allows operators to offer simultaneous direct retail and private label services to wholesale resellers on the same platform.

Integrated billing, accounting, payment gateway, and taxation

The core billing and accounting system is pro-rated, which means that providing customers with professional pro-rated invoices is standard.

The integrated taxation system offers two options: manually inputting taxes or automated taxation via the integrated SureTax™ API. With SureTax, you can rest assured that all state, government, and telecom-related taxes and regulatory fees are accounted for and available for invoicing.
