Description

The ioCORE module provides the essential installation and feature software for the ioTRAN class 5 Softswitch with UCaaS functionality.  This module creates the ioPLATFORM and the foundation for adding additional feature modules. When purchasing an ioTRAN Class 5 Softswitch replacement system or ioLICENSEs, the ioCORE module is provided as a download. The ioCORE module includes the following:

• Core operating system (Linux)
• Core installation files
• Web portal access
• Hosts, containers, and applications
• ioCARRIERS - Carrier Configuration, Dial Codes, Routing
• ioAPI – Advanced API integration (XML and JSON, code development, creation, and testing
• ioPROFIT - Distributors, Resellers, Profit Centers, Billing
• ioSHIELD-B - Toll Fraud protection - Basic mode
• ioDID - DIDs, Toll-Free, CNAM Inbound, CNAM Outbound, T38, E911
• ioCNAM-D - Caller ID Name with DIP Functionality
• ioBILLING - Post Paid, Credit limits, Inbound, Outbound, Minutes, CDRs, Packaged Minutes
• accounting - Invoicing, Statements, Payment Accounts, Nominal Accounts, Profit Reporting
• ioTAX - Taxation/Multiple Tax, Override Tax, Regional Tax
• ioWORKFLOW-B - Alert and Notification workflow Basic
• ioROLLBACK - System Configuration and Rollback
• ioAPPS - Customer Care Portal

This module can be installed on bare metal servers or approved hypervisors for virtualized environments. Once installed, the basic ioPLATFORM system can be accessed and configured. Call functionality will require additional modules based on your application. In addition, a call licensing module will be required to allow any inbound or outbound traffic to take place once the optional call modules are installed such as PBX, SIP Trunks, or Single Lines. These call modules include:

1. ioPBX - provides hosted PBX functionality
2. ioTRUNK - provides hosted SIP Trunk functionality
3. ioRESIDENTIAL - provides single-line functionality
4. ioFAX - provides fully featured fax functionality
5. ioSIP-REG - provides sip registration functionality
6. ioSIP-AUTH - provides sip IP authentication functionality
7. ioLICENSE - provides inbound/outbound call functionality based on simultaneous calls

The amount of dedicated storage and period to archive in the system is configurable by the administrator and available storage space. 

In addition, ioRECORDING can assist in CALEA (Communications Assistance for Law Enforcement Act) legal wiretapping applications.
