Description
The ioLICENSE module provides activation of an inbound and outbound call flow for the ioTRAN class 5 Softswitch. The ioTRAN Softswitch is centered around simultaneous call sessions for licensing, configuration, and alignment with other modules based on simultaneous call support. Without the ioLICENSE, you can access the main ioCORE module and applications for system configuration, but inbound and outbound calls will be restricted with specific core and advanced ioMODULES.
ioLICENSE module integrates and determines call-related capability with the following modules:
- ioCORE - Core installation software module and included key applications
- ioPBX – Integrated PBX functionality module
- ioTRUNK - Integrated SIP Trunk functionality module
- ioRESIDENTIAL - Integrated single line/residential service functionality module
- ioVIRTUAL - Integrated Virtual PBX and Single Line service functionality module
- ioPAYMENT - Payment gateway service functionality module
- ioPROVISION - Integrated phone and device provisioning service functionality module
- ioCNAM - Integrated inbound CNAM service functionality module
- ioSHIELD - Integrated toll fraud management service functionality module
- ioFAX - Integrated WebFax service functionality module
- ioRECORDING - Integrated call recording archival service functionality module
- ioWALL - Integrated threat management service functionality module
- ioSECURE - Secure data link service functionality module
This module is often used in environments where oversubscription of users and call traffic lines exist. For example, in single-line residential services, it is not uncommon to account for up to 15 users sharing a single call path and up to 8 hosted business PBX users sharing a single call path.
